UAE Customer Visits Us for Customized 4-Way Shuttle Project
A UAE customer team recently paid an official visit to our facility for an in-depth inspection and negotiation on a customized 4-way shuttle project. The visit was led by our Sales Manager, with the technical team providing full on-site support throughout the engagement.
Pre-Visit Preparation
Prior to the customer"s arrival, our reception team conducted advance communication to clarify the core requirements of the customer"s warehouse project, including load standards, vehicle model compatibility, and warehouse layout. On-Site Inspection & Equipment Demonstration
Upon arrival, the customer was given a guided tour of our factory"s sample warehouse area, where both 2-way and 4-way shuttle units were displayed in operation. A complete warehouse workflow demonstration was conducted, allowing the customer to observe the equipment"s actual performance firsthand.
Customized Solution for 1.6-Ton Load Requirement
During the inspection, the customer raised a key operational requirement: their actual cargo weight reaches 1.6 tons, while our standard 4-way shuttle has a rated load capacity of 1.5 tons. Rather than recommending a costly heavy-duty model, our technical team proposed a cost-effective lightweight customization solution — adding four additional wheels to the existing chassis, upgrading it to an 8-wheel structure, and simultaneously upgrading the matching reducer and motor components. This approach perfectly meets the 1.6-ton load requirement while keeping the overall investment under control, delivering both stability and cost efficiency. Our technical staff then provided a detailed breakdown of the complete warehouse solution built around this customized 4-way shuttle, addressing all customer concerns regarding load-bearing capacity, equipment durability, and scheduling efficiency.

Following the demonstration, the technical team further refined the implementation plan for the customized 8-wheel 4-way shuttle, elaborating on the load enhancement and operational advantages brought by the wheel structure upgrade and drivetrain optimization.
